Emily Krenik grew up dancing at DC Dance since the age of three and is so excited to be part of the faculty! She received her Bachelor in Fine Arts Degree from the Alonzo King Lines Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California. There, she had the opportunity to work with artists such as Maurya Kerr, Michael Montgomery, Alice Klock and Florian Lochner, Robert Moses, Amy Seiwert and more, including workshops with Alonzo King himself. She currently dances professionally with FLOCK, led by Alice Klock and Florian Lochner, and performs with them around the world. She is also a certified GYROTONIC® trainer and NASM certified Personal Trainer and is eager to share this with the students. It is so special for her to come back to teach at the studio that nurtured her dance journey.
