Hannah Keene

Ballet

Hannah was born in Wellesley, Massachusetts and started her training at the Boston Ballet School at the age of 5. At 17, she was offered her first professional ballet contract as a member of Boston Ballet II where she danced for two seasons, including tours with the company to London, New York City, and Washington D.C. Afterwards, she joined Kansas City Ballet where she spent three seasons. In 2017, she moved to Los Angeles to dance with the Los Angeles Ballet and has been with the company ever since. She also currently works with many freelance groups in the southern California area including Ballet Project Orange County and Raiford Rogers Modern Ballet Company. In 2020 she received a Bachelor’s degree in English from Northeastern University. She has been teaching ballet for the last 7 years to students of all ages and is also a certified Pilates teacher. She is so excited to be back teaching at DC Dance!
