A magical workshop, where children use their imaginations and are transported to the enchanted world of The Nutcracker! Students experience the story up close, by pretending to travel to the Land of the Sweets, learning dance steps from the characters in the story as well as enjoy a special performance by our dancers of the DC Dance Company!
Tiaras, Tutu's and Dance Attire encouraged.

- Two chaperone (18+) tickets may be purchased per workshop participant if you would like to watch while your child participates in the workshop.
(Chaperones must be 18 yrs or older)

Workshop Info: Children may wear their regular dance clothes (tights, leotard & ballet slippers) or clothing that is easy to move in. Please secure long hair back in a ponytail/bun. Workshop includes Reading of the Nutcracker story, Costumes/Props for dress-up during the workshop, learning of various Nutcracker dances, a performance by our very own DC Company dancers and a holiday craft.
